What makes duvet Basic Medium so special?

The filling is what makes Basic Medium duvets truly special. It consists of new white French duck down and soft feathers – as clean as possible, washed over 8 times and sterilized at high temperature. The ratio of 10% down and 90% feathers ensures the perfect balance: the down adds volume and softness, while the feathers give elasticity and structure. The result? A light, fluffy duvet that hugs you like a cloud, without weighing you down.

It is naturally thermo-regulating – it wicks away moisture, prevents sweating and maintains a constant temperature. The model is ideal for rooms with a temperature of 18–22°C, which makes it suitable for almost all year round in areas with a mild climate and even for winter in well-heated bedrooms.

The fabric of the Basic duvets is made of 100% cotton percale with a density of 92 threads/cm² (233 threads/in²) – a densely woven fabric that is soft to the touch, extremely durable and acts as a natural barrier against the escape of down and dust mites. This makes it an ideal choice for people with sensitive skin or dust allergies.

The “box” construction (sewn in squares) ensures that the filling remains evenly distributed – without cold spots and without bunching in one place. The filling stays where it should be, offering maximum comfort all night long.

Finally, both the filling and the fabric are certified according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Class 1 – the strictest level of the standard, guaranteeing the absence of harmful substances. This means that Basic Medium duvets are safe even for infants.

Easy care

Unlike older down duvets, the Basic Medium can be washed in a domestic washing machine on a low temperature and spin cycle and tumble dried on a medium temperature. There’s no need to take it to the dry cleaners – just keep it clean as often as you like.

To reduce the need to wash it, we recommend regularly airing the duvet in fresh air. Regular shaking of the duvet will maintain the correct volume, while using a duvet cover will protect the fabric from normal wear and tear.

Important: It is not recommended to use fabric softeners when washing!
