Although down is recognised as the most luxurious type of filling for sleep products, many people still choose pillows filled entirely with feathers. Our product range also includes such products in order to satisfy the needs and requirements of a wider range of buyers.
Our feather pillows are of superior quality and can be bought in 4 height levels: soft, medium, firm and very firm.
What are the advantages of a pillow filled only with feathers?
Feathers do not have the airy structure of down, but this is not necessarily a disadvantage. Thanks to its more stable structure and its less airy softness, the feather gives the pillow maximum firmness and support. For this reason, feather pillows are preferred by people with spinal problems and users who do not want their pillow to change height and shape during sleep.
Feathers, like down, provide good ventilation and do not cause the head to sweat. Unlike synthetic materials, used as filling in mass-market bedding products, goose feather pillows do not create a greenhouse effect. Both the filling and the cotton covers have excellent air conductivity and the ability to regulate body temperature.
Covers made of 100% breathable cotton fabric
The covers of our feather pillows are made of 100% cotton in white, down-proof high tread count structure which prevents the filling from escaping. This is extremely important, as the cover prevents contact between the skin and the feather filling and at the same time maintains the volume capacity of the pillow over time.
In addition to being completely impermeable to down and feathers, our cotton fabrics are smooth and pleasant to the touch.
Certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class 1
Our fabric covers are certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class 1. The Oeko-Tex Standard 100, and specifically Class 1, is a strict European certification system designed to ensure that textile products - in this case goose feather pillow covers - meet specific safety and environmental criteria. Class 1 is the strictest level in the Oeko-Tex certification hierarchy. The certification of goose feather filling material is vitally important for an increasing number of buyers seeking healthy bedding. It ensures that the materials used to make the products do not contain harmful substances such as pesticides, heavy metals and allergenic dyes. This is particularly important for products that come into direct contact with the skin, as babies and small children are more vulnerable to unwanted skin reactions and allergies.
