The quality of goose down is higher than that of any other type of fillings. It surpasses them in thermal insulation properties and softness. Down pillows made from the down of white geese raised in cold climates are considered to be of better quality and more durable. The collection of the raw materials is carried out by hand during grooming. On average, 45-50 g of material is obtained from one bird. At least 20 birds are needed to make one pillow.
A good down pillow stands out for its lightness, elasticity, durability and good moisture absorption. When pressed, it quickly recovers its original shape and serves for at least 5 years. Most down pillows can be cleaned only in a tumble dryer, but our products can be washed in the washing machine at a moderate temperature.

Fill Power (F.P.) is a special characteristic that examines the ability of a certain amount of down to fill a specific volume or, more precisely, the volume of down in one ounce of the raw material. Fill Power also measures the ability of the down to recover after compression. This is an important characteristic for the quality of the down. After all, the beauty of a good goose down pillow is that when pressed, it follows the contours of the sleeper's head and shoulders, after which it quickly recovers its original volume and becomes downy and soft again.
