The Comfort Bed down and feather mattress topper adds an 8 cm layer of soft padding on top of your mattress. It suits a mattress that feels too firm or a little worn, a guest bed or a sofa bed. For our full range, see all mattress toppers in Cyprus.
What's inside
The filling is 90% new white French duck feathers and 10% French duck down, Class 1 under the European standard EN 12934. The feathers give the topper its spring; the down adds softness on top. The filling is washed more than eight times before it goes in, and each square metre holds 1,750 g of it.
The cover is 100% cotton twill (200 threads per square inch), woven tightly enough to keep the filling in and to act as a barrier to dust mites, and finished with double stitching and piping. The cover fabric and the filling are certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Class 1.
Sizes: UK and EU
The topper comes in 22 sizes, all 8 cm deep, from 75 × 190 to 200 × 220 cm:
- UK sizes: single 90 × 190, small double 120 × 190, double 135 × 190, king 150 × 200 and super king 180 × 200 cm
- EU sizes: 80 × 200, 90 × 200, 140 × 200, 160 × 200, 180 × 200 and 200 × 200 cm
- Other sizes: 75 × 190, 80 × 190, 82 × 190, 82 × 200, 100 × 200, 110 × 200, 120 × 200, 144 × 190, 160 × 190, 164 × 190, 164 × 200 and 200 × 220 cm
Each topper is made to order, so if your bed needs another size, just ask. On top of the topper, use a fitted sheet with corners deep enough for the mattress plus 8 cm.
Care
Shake the topper and air it from time to time so the filling stays lofty. It can be machine washed at up to 40 °C on a delicate programme in a large front-loading machine, with about a third of your usual detergent. Then tumble dry it on low to medium heat until it is completely dry, which can take several hours. A mattress protector over the topper keeps it clean between washes. Our care guide has the full steps.
Delivery and the 15-day trial
We make your topper after you order, in up to five working days, and ACS delivers it anywhere in Cyprus, usually within 5 to 8 working days. Delivery is free on orders from €150; below that it costs €7. As a down and feather product, the topper comes with our 15-day trial. Toppers made to a custom size can't be returned.
