The presence of organic residues in down and feathers, as well as the growth of dust mites in this raw material, created a serious risk of allergic reactions even in completely healthy children.
Today, the picture is very different, especially if we look at our products. The down we use to fill our luxurious children's pillows is absolutely safe for the health of young ones. This is due to the modern production practices incorporated into the policy of our company.
The down and feathers we use to fill the Junior Classic and Silver Junior children's pillows undergo multi-stage cleaning processes. The raw material is washed more than 8 times, after which it is sterilised at high temperature. This precise treatment ensures that the filling does not contain organic residues that can cause allergies and respiratory problems in young ones.
In order to completely eliminate the possibility of the down filling coming into contact with the skin of our youngest customers, each of our children's pillows is clothed in a special fabric cover. The covers are made of 100% cotton jersey, woven with a fine thread to be classified as down-proof - preventing the down and feathers from migrating outwards.
Our fabrics have an anti-mite coating that prevents the growth of these dangerous pathogens on the surface and inside the pillow. What to choose?
Our comfortable children's pillows are presented in two great series: Junior Classic and Silver Junior. What distinguishes them from each other is the percentage ratio between down and feathers. The down content of the Junior Classic pillow is 30%, while in the Silver Junior pillow, down occupies 60% of the filling. The composition of the pillows includes new white French duck down and fine feathers.
A higher percentage of down means more volume and softness of the pillow, while feathers create a slightly firmer, denser pillow. Your choice should be based solely on the needs of your child. Children who sleep mainly on their back need a lower and more stable pillow. Children who sleep on their side need extra height to fill the gap between the shoulder and the head.
Our children's pillows are certified according to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Class 1 for the absence of harmful substances. The certificate proves that the products have passed strict tests and meet the highest requirements for the absence of pesticides, formaldehyde and other toxic substances. This international standard concerns above all the safety of textile products in children's bedding.
